The Pier is our drop in centre open Wednesdays 3-7pm. Our aim is to create a space to skate, hang or do homework for all youth from Chicago, and who play sport at The Centre.
It is a gateway to Chicago Youth, and become a part of the family.
Every six weeks the team heads out to the local retirement village. This is a great opportunity to learn what serving others looks like, and bless some old folk in the process. Feel free to bring friends, or family.
Our youth camp is 4 days each January. Camp is one of the most powerful events we run down by the beautiful Shoalhaven filled with tribal wars, games, worship music, teaching, water activities, pool parties, and more.
Each April, we take a team of around 30 to partner with Soul Survivor, and participate in their 5 day conference centred on worship music, bible teaching, camping in community, and serving through local communities with action.
Each year, we take a crew south or north for 1-3 days to check out some new skate parks, have a lot of fun, and build relationships.
Solomon Islands Youth Mission Trip
The Solomon Islands trip is for Koti students. This is a great opportunity to disciple our young people, and see beyond Australian needs, whilst continuing our relationships with the Solomon Islands through The Centre. Every two years a team of 15 will visit Pastor Seru, and the SALT team visiting schools, and local communities.
Plug is our extension of Chicago during our Sunday morning church service at 9:30am. It is a place to hang out, have fun, and allow Jesus to lead our lives for youth in yrs 6 to 12.
Every aspect of Chicago seeks to open our eyes to the needs of God’s people and creation, throughout not just Dural but healing brokenness across the world.
