Mini Sports Competitions

Ages 6-10
Learn. Play. Grow.

Our NetSetGo Netball & KickPassPlay Futsal programs are designed especially for children aged 6–10 years, focusing on building skills, confidence and a love of sport in a fun, supportive environment.

Unlike traditional competitions, our NetSetGo and KickPassPlay programs combine structured coaching with modified game play each week. This ensures every child is learning, improving and enjoying themselves — regardless of experience level.

How Minis competitions work
  • All players join a supportive coaching session focused on fundamental skills

  • Players then join their teams to play scheduled games in friendly competition the same evening

  • Games are played with age-appropriate modified rules to maximise involvement and enjoyment

  • Referees/Umpires coach the players through the game, encouraging participation and teamwork

  • Players can sign up individually and we will form teams or sign up and form a team with their friends.

  • All teams require a volunteer parent coach and manger to help coordinate the team.

  • Ages are based off the age your child turns in the calendar year that the competition starts in. Since our competition spans two calendar years, children may be a older than the specified age in the second half of the competition.

Game rules, code of coduct, incident processes and insurance information can all be found on our policies page.

Summer 2025/26 Junior Timetable

Game time will vary with the draw each week, but will be scheduled between 4.15pm - 7pm.

Junior Individual Registration

If you register individually, we’ll do our best to place you in a team, but spots are limited. If we can’t place you in a team one week before competition starts, you’ll get a full refund. If we form a new team, we’ll help get it started—then a parent manager will need to take over coordination.

Junior Team Registration

This is a social competition, so we encourage you to form a team with friends or classmates and register together. Almost have a team but need a few more players? Give us a call and we can check our waitlist and see if we can help.

One person (the manager) will need to register the team and will enter the team members. A link will be sent to the others to register and pay for the individual players.
