How Summer Mini's competitions work

• The Summer Mini’s competition usually runs from the end of Term 3 through to the end of Term 1

• Players join a team for the full season

• Each week begins with a group coaching session focused on fundamental skills

• Teams then play scheduled games in a friendly competition environment

• Modified rules are used to maximise involvement, learning and enjoyment

• Referees and umpires help coach players during games, encouraging teamwork and participation

• Children can register individually and we will place them into a team, or join with friends and request to play together

• Each team requires a volunteer parent coach and manager to assist with communication and coordination

• Age groups are based on the age your child turns during the calendar year the competition begins. Because the season runs across two calendar years, some players may be older than the listed age group by the end of the competition
