Does my child need Futsal experience?

No. Many of our Academy players come from outdoor football and learn Futsal with us.

Does my child need representative football experience?

No. While many players come from representative football programs, we also welcome committed players who are ready to challenge themselves. We are looking for players with commitment to a higher skill level than basic club football.

Can my child still play outdoor football?

Yes. The Academy is designed to complement the outdoor football season and is ideal for players wanting to continue developing over Summer. Many of our players play outdoor during Winter.

What if we can't attend every week?

The Academy is a representative program, so players are expected to attend both training and matches wherever possible. Regular attendance is important for both player development and the team.

How are players selected?

Some age groups may hold trials or invite players to training sessions depending on availability. If you're interested, we'd love to hear from you.

What is the Academy?

The Dural Warriors Academy is the representative Futsal development program of The Centre Dural.

Players train weekly with a dedicated coaching team and compete against the best Academy teams from across Sydney in the Futsal Premier Academy League.

As players develop, they have opportunities to progress into older Dural Warriors representative teams, compete in Football NSW Premier League competitions, and for some, pursue state and national representative honours. We are proud to have former Dural Warriors players who have progressed to represent Australia as Futsalroos.

So whether your goal is to become a better footballer, compete at the highest level of Futsal, or simply enjoy an exciting and highly skilled sport, the Academy provides the foundation.

New to Futsal? That's OK!

No previous Futsal experience is required.

Futsal is a small sided football game recognised for its speed, skill and creativity. It provides an exciting opportunity to develop technical skills, compete in a fast-paced environment and challenge yourself against quality opposition.

Academy teams compete on Saturday mornings in the Futsal Premier Academy League at Penrith Valley Regional Sports Centre

Season: September – December

Competition: Saturday mornings

Club Fee: $770 for the season

Early Bird Rate: $690

Additional Costs: Football NSW registration fees apply

Weekly Training

Weekly Training takes place at The Centre Dural.

Friday Afternoon Training Times:

4:00pm – Ages 8 & 9

5:00pm – Ages 10 & 11

6:00pm – Ages 12 & 13
