The Dural Warriors are a representative futsal club who play in the elite NSW Futsal Premier League Competition, the highest level of Futsal in NSW. The Club’s home ground is the Centre, Dural and is the premier indoor sporting centre in the Hills District of Sydney.

The Dural Warriors prides itself on being a family club that enables players to feel accepted and valued within the community.

Our Journey

Since founded by Brian Codrington in 1994, the Dural Warriors have etched an illustrious chapter in Australian Futsal, boasting a remarkable record of titles in both male and female competitions.

The Warriors also possess an esteemed history on the international stage, proudly representing Australia in various competitions in Asia.

The Club’s commitment to excellence is further underscored by its role in nurturing talent, with numerous players ascending to the ranks of the national team.

Meet the Team

Jake Basden

Technical Director & Youth Head Coach

Jake is a current Futsalroo and member of the Warriors Men’s squad, having won many titles across several age groups as a player. Jake led the Youth team to the Premiership in 2022 and the Championship last season. Jake’s attention to detail, perseverance and total commitment to the Dural way will see his team not only have success but for many of his players push for inclusion in the senior team.

Blake Rosier

Men’s Head Coach

Blake was formerly a key figure in the all-conquering Warriors Men team, winning many titles across his playing career. He is also a former Futsalroo, representing Australia at the 2016 World Cup in Colombia. Blake is a Championship winning coach with a very sharp Futsal mind, enabling him to accelerate the futsal education of his players.

Craig Glasby

General Manager

Craig came on board as General Manager in 2017 and is responsible for the operations of The Centre, ranging from new business to facilities management. Craig also plays a key role within the Warriors, handling administration, logistics and other behind-the-scenes operations to ensure the smooth functioning of the club. Craig, along with his wife Robyn, have been part of The Centre family since January 2000. They have 3 adult daughters.

Brian Codrington

Founder

As the original founder of the Warriors, Brian played a pivotal role in the establishment and growth of the club. Brian was the initial Manager of the Centre and formed the Warriors in 1994 to cater for the players of the 104 local futsal teams. Brian departed from the role of Sports Manager in 2007 and Warriors’ President in 2018 but has continuously been involved in talent scouting and club management to facilitate the Warriors’ growth alongside the expanding futsal scene.

Meet the Coaches

Blake Rosier

16 Boys & Men

A key figure in the all-conquering Warriors Men team for many years and a member of the 2016 World Cup Futsalroos squad, Blake returns to Dural after a short hiatus. A Championship winning coach with a very sharp Futsal mind, Blake will accelerate the players Futsal education.

Josh Franks

Women

After years of experience at a previous club, Josh joined the Warriors in 2022 leading his team to the play offs. Josh was appointed coach of the NSW 13 Girls Lightning team that took part in the 2023 Nationals in Melbourne.

Amanda Millgate

15 Girls & 17 Girls

Amanda will be into her fourth year at Dural after a few very successful years. Gentle and mild in approach, Amanda will get the best out her players this season.

Ahmed Sweedan

14 Boys

A current Futsalroo and member of the Warriors Men’s squad, Ahmed is one of the best young coaches in the competition. He has the ability to transfer his knowledge of the game in an easy relaxed way.

Beau Jenkins

13 Girls

This will be Beau’s fourth season at Dural. After a solid start to his Futsal coaching career, expectations are high for Beau to become an even better Futsal coach as he continues to gain experience.

Jacob Sullivan

12 Boys (co-coach)

Jacob joined the Warriors family as a 10-year-old and has enjoyed many successful years as a player, becoming a prominent figure in the senior team. Jacob possesses a brilliant tactical mind, an exceptional attitude, and a respectful demeanor that he will undoubtedly pass on to the team.

Zachary Sparkes

12 Boys (co-coach)

Zachary has been with the Warriors for a number of years as a player and now joins the coaching ranks. Joining the Warriors as a 10-year-old, Zachary has worked his way through the age groups and has made several appearances for the senior team. His professionalism, leadership, and knowledge of the game will make him an ideal role model for his players.

Greg Clay

12 Girls

It is Greg’s second year at Dural, after coming to the club with a very impressive coaching background in Football; Greg is very keen to learn and approaches the task with great enthusiasm.

Thomas Marull

11 Boys

Thomas is in his second year of Premier League coaching but he has been honing his skills as head coach of The Centre’s Future Starz Plus squad. Tom relates very well to young players and is committed to the Dural system.
