The countdown is on! From Monday 5 – Friday 9 January 2026, some of the best young futsal talent from across NSW and Australia will come together for the Junior State Futsal Championship 2026.
This exciting annual event is a highlight of the futsal calendar, giving junior players the chance to experience fast-paced competition, test themselves against premier teams, and most importantly, have fun in a supportive and inclusive environment.
Who Can Play?
The championship is open to boys and girls across multiple age groups:
Mixed Teams – 7 & 8 Years
Boys & Girls Teams – 9, 10 & 11 Years
Competition Format
To give every team maximum court time, the competition runs across the week with a structured format:
7 & 8 Years (Mixed Teams)
5 rounds + Semi-Final & Grand Final
Both age groups play over 2 days
Thursday 8 January – Rounds 1-3
Friday 9 January – Rounds 4-5 + Finals
40-minute games (2 x 18-minute halves)
9, 10 & 11 Years (Boys & Girls Teams)
4 rounds + Semi-Final & Grand Final
Each age group plays on one day:
Monday 5 January – 11 Years
Tuesday 6 January – 10 Years
Wednesday 7 January – 9 Years
40-minute games (2 x 18-minute halves)
Team Fee: $770 (including GST)
